About me
The Mission
To teach people from my own experience that anyone can become fit, now matter their starting point, financial situation, or time limitations.
The Mindset
Strength is often seen as how much weight one can carry. Yet out of every meaning, I believe this is the description that fits this word the least. Strength is the ability to keep going, the ability to push through despite the resistance life throws at us.
My Story
We all have our own motivations for wanting to do exercise. Some wanna look good to attract a romantic partner, others want to get into competitions, and some just want to live a longer and healthier life. As silly as is sounds, my initial motivation was to look like my favorite fictional characters. From super heroes to videogame protagonist, that was what got me started, working out every day when I got home from school. Over time however I found myself finding new motivations to workout and live a healthier lifestyle. Yet as my motivation grew, so did the obstacles. Entering my collage years made me busier than ever before, the pandemic removed my access to the gym for a while, and an injury to my lower back prevented my from training for months. All of this while still having to worry about every day things like grades, paychecks and more. On top of all this, it definitely didn't help that my first job straight out of college was a physically taxing night shift. Yet despite this, I didn't want to give up; after my injury I did research and found ways to strengthen my back without risking more injury, ways to keep working out regularly, ways to workout at home. All of this as someone who's life is NOT built around fitness. Because the reality is that many fitness influencers give out advice from the perspective of someone who's entire life revolves around what they do, and because of this, they forget to account for many of our daily struggles. Now I want to share my the knowledge I've collected. As a busy nerd who's currently working on his Master's degree in something unrelated to fitness, I want to share advice not for the elite performers but for the everyday, busy person.
